GET LIT with the first annual Poetry Pub Crawl, a fundraising event for the Sierra Poetry Festival, sponsored by the Nevada County Arts Council.
Participating Nevada City pubs include Brewhaus, Three Forks, Golden Era, Deer Creek Bar & Grill, Szabo Winery, Nevada City Winery, Miners Foundry, Golden Era, National Exchange Hotel, Stone House, and The Fern.
Readings, performances, and mini-workshops by some of our most beloved literary lights will take place at 4:00, 4:30, 5:00, and 5:30, with time for you to crawl from venue to venue. You won’t want to miss custom-crafted brew—such as the Poetry Pilsner at Three Forks—and cocktails created just for the occasion by some of our stellar saloons.
Free and open to the public. All are welcome! We hope to inspire your generous contributions toward the literary arts and the Sierra Poetry Festival, now in its 9th year. All donations go directly to poets and poetry in our community.
